August was Fun

August was so much fun! We went to the beach with Bryce, Madison, Christina and Jason for a long weekend. The kids had fun playing on the beach, riding the golf carts, and playing "golf." Kyle even got a hole in one -- twice!!

Then we had a blast at the SC State Museum's 20th anniversary. Nannan, Kyle and I went to the Museum to meet Nana. Kyle loves Nana's work because it is so cool! We made a treasure bottle, rode on rides, and looked all around the museum. It was so much fun!

We spent a Sunday afternoon with Granny, Grandaddy & Aunt Monica playing with the soccer ball. From the looks of the "action shot" we may have a little soccer star on our hands!

Then one afternoon this week we came home and there was a surprise box for Kyle.... from B.B.!! We opened the box and found all kinds of goodies. Kyle got a horse shirt, a horse and cowboy lunchbox and pencils with his name on them! He loves getting surprises from Kelly, Mike & Bentley. We love ya'll and miss you every day!

At the Museum, Nannan bought Kyle his very first umbrella. It had dinasours on it and we had to pretend it was raining so he could play with his umbrella. PaPa also got a new 4-wheeler and we had a blast riding on it. We have to get the pics from Nana so we can post them too!

Kyle is also officially in a 3 year old kindergarden class now. It is less "play" time and more "school" work. I can't believe he is growing so fast! It reminds me of that Kenny song "Don't Blink!"

The River, The Pool & The Playground

We are really making the most of our weekends. We went to a birthday party on the river for Brunson on Saturday and had a blast! Thanks for inviting us Brunson!

On Sunday, we had lots of fun swimming and playing at the park with Papa, Nana, Blake and Kelly. All the work during the week is worth a weekend like this!

July - A Fun Month

July was filled with Fun, Fun, Fun!! The month started with a bang by a relaxing vacation at the beach with Granny, Grandaddy & Aunt Monica. We had fun playing on the beach and went to play "golf." Of course, Kyle wins every time. We love vacations!

A fun filled day at the Zoo with Nana & Nannan followed. Kyle was able to feed the birds and the giraffe. The giraffe ate "salad" (greens) right out of Kyle's hand!!! After the Zoo, PaPa gave Kyle a surprise snake. He loves it so much we had to take it out to eat.

Pluto had to go to the vet and Blake and Kelly went too. The car was a little too small for the 5 of us and Pluto was a bit "smelly."

The month ended with a birthday party for Nannan! We got to see the lots of family and wished Happy Birthday to Nannan!! We love you!!

Weekend Fun

We had a blast this weekend! Check out the pictures of the the Chavis boys having fun on the trampoline. I think the bigger Chavis boys had more fun than the little ones!

Emma liked to pet the pup-pup (Pluto) and Troy and Kyle had a blast in the tub. On Sunday Brad, Kyle and I went swimming at Nana's house.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.

Our First Blog

We are finally entering the electronic age with a blog!

First, I want to thank Christy for setting this up. I could not have done this without you. Christy you are awesome!!!

Next, I want to say thanks for everyone that inspired me to make the blog. I love reading Hannah & Brunson's, Troy & Emma's, Walker's, and Jackson's blogs! So thanks to Christy, Heather, Ashley and Alisha for the inspiration.
